GARDEN OF THE ARCANE DELIGHTS (1984)

Lo stesso anno, il 1984, i Dead Can Dance registrano il 12'' EP "Garden Of The Arcane Delights".
Tale EP è ora contenuto nell'album "Dead Can Dance". I temi della canzone centrale dell' EP, 'The Arcane', è stato illustrato dal disegno di Brendan Perry che è apparso sulla copertina.
"...La figura bendata nuda, rappresentante un uomo primitivo deprivato della percezione, sta, in un giardino (il mondo) contenente una fontana ed alberi carichi di frutta. In 1984, DCD recorded a 12'' EP, "Garden Of The Arcane Delights".
The themes of the EP's central song, 'The Arcane', were illustrated by the artwork Perry created for the cover.
"...The naked blindfolded figure,rapresented primal man deprived of perception.He stands,within confines of a garden containing a fountain and trees laden with fruit.His right arm is stretched out-the grasping for knowledge-towards afruit-bearing tree;its trunk encircled by a snake.".
